Shubman Gill Becomes Youngest To Smash ODI Double Hundred

Shubman Gill continued his fine form and slammed his maiden double century in the format against New Zealand on Wednesday.
Gill powered India to 349 for eight in the first ODI of the three-match series in Hyderabad.
Gill is also the youngest batsman to hit a double century in ODIs.
BOUNDARIES & SIXES
Opting to bat, Gill blazed his way to 208 off 149 balls with the help of 19 boundaries and nine sixes to ensure India post a big total.
60 WITH ROHIT
Along with skipper Rohit Sharma (34), Gill shared 60 runs for the opening wicket before going ballistic.
FASTEST INDIAN TO HIT 1000
Gill also became the fastest Indian to complete 1000 runs in ODIs as he reached the mark in 19 innings.
Gill surpassed the likes of Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan.
Gill, who made his ODI debut in January 2019, also became the joint second-fastest to 1000 runs in terms of innings.
REPLACED KOHLI & DHAWAN
Gill's India teammates Kohli and Dhawan, who he has replaced in the team, had completed 1000 runs in 24 innings.
