Nepal Plane Crash: 67 Dead, 5 Indians Were On Flight

POKHARA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

A plane carrying 72 onboard passengers from capital Kathmandu crashed at Pokhara International Airport.

CASUALITIES

According to the reports, 67 people got died and 5 were the Indian passengers on the flight.

DEADLIEST PLANE CRASH

The aircraft 9N ANC ATR-72 crashed into a river George on the banks of Seti river. It caught fire when it crashed.

RESCUE OPERATION

The rescue operation continues at the site and a five member committee has been formed to probe the reason behind the crash.

ONE DAY NATIONAL MOURNING

The government of Nepal has announced a one-day national mourning on 16th January, 2022 in wake of the worst air accident.

PAID CONDOLENCES

Nepal Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Union Civil Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Sinha paid condolences.
