Connecting the dots between Savita's presence in Delhi as she was told to be a resident of Haridwar, Guddu said, "after returning from Haridwar, Savita stayed at a rented accommodation in Delhi. However, today I decided to bring her to my mother’s house as she was told to leave the rented accommodation due to lockdown."
Considering the disagreement between the son and the mother, the police told the house-owner of the rented apartment where Savita was staying to let the couple reside till the lockdown.
