Delhi couple's 'balcony concert' helps neighbours beat quarantine blues with aesthetic beats | Watch
New Delhi | Jagran Trending Desk: As coronavirus haunts the world, in India we have pledged to fight this virus, staying indoors. Though the time indoors is getting strenuous as scrolling over the screens makes us feel dizzy too soon now. Amid this desertification of real human entertainment, a couple in West-Delhi's Rajouri garden decided to conduct a music concert in their balcony.
The musicians Hitesh and his wife Payal Madan practised this in their balcony for the first time on March 22, the day when countrywide Janta Curfew was imposed.
While speaking to news agency ANI, Hitesh Madan said, "It's a tough time for the whole world... We experimented with this for the first time on Janta Curfew. We came into the balcony and perform this concert... we received positive and encouraging response from our neighbors so we performed again."
"I will give a message to all people that please stay home, stay safe. I am missing to perform for a big audience but to motivate myself, I am doing this balcony concert. Today we did our third balcony concert," Madan said while talking about the need to practice social distancing.
The couple's initiative was quite applauded by the neighbours.
A similar Video surfaced on Instagram in which a young singer named Stavya Kalia took the initiative to spread smiles through his balcony. In the video, Stavya was seen singing while the neighbours were clapping and hooting for syncing to the aesthetic rhythm. The video that captioned as “2nd in the balcony” was hearted by many. At the end of the video, Satvya wrote, “I’m doing my best to spread positivity during these hard times. What about you?”

2nd day in the Balcony: Unlike the first, today was a more organized and planned day with everyone ready to hear the songs. People sitting in the balconies, looking forward to have a change to the monotonous schedule they have been pushed into. Today people were enjoying and joining me between songs. Elderly people who dont have netflix and series to watch like us had a ball of a time and smiled like kids who get candy. Just realized that a small gesture can make a big big change for someone. Try doing something for someone and see their smiles, it'll make your day. P.S: I didn't know Bpraak was gonna share my videos! What are you doing in your quarantine time? #quarantineandchill #quarantine #covid19 #staystrong #spreadingpositivity #unplugged #awholenewworld #lockdowndiaries #sodelhi
