New Delhi | Jagran Trending Desk: People isolated in Juafar Quarantine Centre in Bihar’s Siwan were filmed standing in neat rows to maintain social distancing while dancing on Bollywood songs. A video of the activity which was conducted to lift spirits and cheer inmates up has won hearts on social media as they isolate away from their families.

The 30-second video, which emerged online a few days ago, was shared on Twitter by Uttar Pradesh police officer Rahul Srivastav, who praised the "covidance’ saying that the dance cheered up people who have been forced to self-isolate away from their families.

The video begins with a man dancing to the song with a smile on his face. The camera pans on the other side to show several others following his moves while maintaining social distance. They are seen grooving to the famous song Sandese Aatey hai from the popular 1997 film Border.

With 5.9k views and 430 likes, the video has tugged at the heartstrings of many. From saluting their spirits to wishing them good luck, people tweeted all sorts of comments on the post. “Aur main inhein deta hun grand salute [A grand salute from me],” wrote a Twitter user. “Fantastic,” commented another. “Great,” wrote a third.

Lakhs of migrants have returned to Bihar during the nationwide lockdown from cities like Mumbai and Delhi. Over 22 lakh migrant workers are estimated to have returned to the state through special "Shramik" trains. According to the estimates of the Bihar government, around 10 lakh people have also returned on foot and shared vehicles.
