New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: After establishing its smart-devices vigour with Mi Smartphones, Tablets and LED Televisions, Xiaomi debuted in India’s PC segment on Thursday with the launch of its Mi Notebook series, Mi Notebook 14 and Mi Notebook Horizon.

Powered by a 10th generation Intel Core i7 processor which will boost the battery life of the premium laptops by up to 12 hours, Xiaomi’s much-awaited and equally-anticipated premium smart laptops – Mi Notebook and Mi Notebook Horizon – were released in India on Thursday at 12:00 pm.

The launch event was live streamed on Xiaomi’s social media channels as well as on its YouTube channel which was viewed by thousands in anticipation all across India.

Targeting the premium smart-devices market, specifically the one dominated by the gamers and coders, the Mi Notebook and Mi Notebook Horizon, much like Apple’s MacBook models, also flaunt narrow slim bezels which will enable a high screen to body ratio for a better HD viewing-experience at an ultrathin integration.

It was expected that at a feasible price Xiaomi will introduce the integration of high-end hardware for a premium software driven smart device experience as far as smooth experiences like Gaming were concerned. Xiaomi has lived up to those expectations.

The company will start selling all variants of the premium laptop on Amazon and Mi.com from 17th June onwards.

Weighing just 1.35 kg, a bit longer than an A4 sheet with an exceptional 91% Screen to Body ratio, the Mi Notebook 14 Horizon comes with a corrosion and abrasion resistance surface. The company claims its processor to be synchronised for 2666 Mhz smooth experience for all Laptop-specific works be it Working, Designing, Gaming, Streaming or Editing. With this, Xiaomi is also introducing SSD storage instead of traditional Hard Disk storage integrations.

Mi Notebook 14 Horizon Edition comes in two variants: 10th Generation Intel Core i5 processor, priced at Rs 54,999 and 10th Generation Intel Core i7 processor which has been priced at Rs 59,999.

Mi Notebook 14 has been released in three variants with difference to storage capacity and Graphics Card model integrated.

First variant comes with 256 GB SSD storage and Intel UHD Graphics 620, which has been priced at 41,999
Second variant comes with 512 GB SSD storage and Intel UHD Graphics 620, which has been priced at 44,999
The third variant comes also comes with SSD 512 GB storage but comes with NVIDIA GeForce MX250 Graphics card. This top variant has been priced at 47,999.

Sale, Availability and Offers

The company will start selling its flagship laptops on Amazon India and Mi.com from 17th June onward. For those holding HDFC credit/debit cards, the Xiaomi will provide an instant discount of Rs. 2,000, which brings down the top variant prices of Notebook 14 at Rs 42,999 and Notebook 14 Horizon at Rs 57,999.
