New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi has recently launched its budget range smartphone Redmi Note 8 in the Indian market. It has a starting price of Rs 9,999 and the device will be available for sale from October 21. Earlier, the company had also launched Redmi Note 7S in the same budget range that it also includes a 48-megapixel camera.
Let's know what is the difference between Redmi Note 8 and Redmi Note 7S in terms of specifications:
Redmi Note 8 has been introduced in two storage variants, 4GB RAM + 64GB and 6GB RAM + 128GB storage variants at Rs 9,999 and Rs 12,999 respectively. Redmi Note 7S is also available in two storage models. Its 3GB RAM + 32GB storage variant costs Rs 8,999, while the 4GB RAM + 64GB model is priced at Rs 9,999.
Both these devices have a 6.3-inch full HD+ display screen.RedmiNote 7S comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and P2i splash-resistant coating.RedmiNote 8 is also coated with CGG5.
In terms of performance, Redmi Note 8 includes Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor. Its external storage can be expanded up to 512GB with the help of amicroSDcard.RedmiNote 7S, on the other hand,  has Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor. Its external storage can be extended up to 256GB. Both smartphones have4,000 mAh batterywith 18W fast charging support.
RedmiNote 8 has a quad camera setup: 48 megapixel primary camera, 8 megapixel ultra-wide angle sensor, 2 megapixel depth sensor and 2 megapixel macro lens. 
RedmiNote 7S camera includes dual rear camera setup: 48-megapixel primary camera and 5-megapixel secondary sensor. 
Both of these smartphonesincludes13 MP selfie shooter.
Final verdict
There is not too much difference in the price and both have fair storage options. However, in terms of camera, Redmi Note 8 is much better than Redmi Note 7S, because in this low budget phone you will get the facility of quad-camera setup, reported Jagran Hindi.
