New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi launched Mi A3 in the Indian market on Wednesday. The smartphone comes with a super AMOLED display and a fingerprint scanner with triple rear camera. The starting price of the devices starts at Rs 12,999. Mi A3 is the brand new version of the company's A-series smartphones. Earlier, Mi A2 was launched last year.

Mi A3 is based on Android One and powered by octa-core 2.0 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor chipset. The device comes in two variants: 4 GB + 64 Gb and 6 GB + 128 GB storage. The external memory can be extended up to 256 GB. The phone comes with multiple operating systems (Android Pie and Android One).

Mi A3 features 6.08-inch full HD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It features a 48 MP Sony IMX586 sensor with 8 MP ultra-wide lens and 2 MP depth sensor which is also protected by Gorilla Glass 5 coating. It also includes a 32 MP selfie camera. Connectivity features of the device include 3.5 mm audio jack, dual SIM 4G VoLTE, USB Tye-C charging port. The device has a 4030 mAh battery with 18W fast charging capacity.

The smartphone is available in three shades- Grey, blue and white. The price for the high-end variant is Rs 15,999 and will be available on the websites such as mi.com, Amazon and Mi Home stores from August 23.

In terms of camera, Mi A3 is quite better as compared to other devices such as Huawei, Samsung, Motorola, Realme and Nokia in Rs 12,000 range. So, it can be a top choice for photography lovers. The device also has a higher RAM and storage capacity to help you play PUBG and other games without any glitz. The battery power of 4230 mAh is also expected to last long.
