New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Microsoft's latest bid to improve its Windows 10 Operating System is expected to infuse its biggest update this year, which is expected to be rolled out this week. The new update will involve new Chromium-based Edge web browser, end of support for 32-bit versions of the system, new interactive icons for system apps such as Windows' Internet Explorer, improvements in the performance of graphics, Windows' defence and the ability to reinstall Windows 10 from the cloud, among others.

Windows need to restart when it comes to installing the updates — which can take between a few minutes to a few hours, you may want to adjust the restart times for when it’s most convenient.
How to initiate the process?
Down left on extreme, click on the Windows 10 icon to Start menu, and tap on the 'Settings' menu. Preferably search for the Windows' update, which will take you to the update page and will show you the list of pending updates and the status of installation of all of them. Scrolling down, you can see "Pause updates for seven days" option. One can either select this option to pause the automatic download and installation of the Windows 10 updates for up to a week at a time and can keep on repeating it for the paused situation to continue. Or you can "schedule the install" by selecting a time and date for upto a period of 35 days.
