New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: To increase its dominance in the Indian market, Vivo is all set to come up with U-series smartphones. The company is expected to launch brand new six smartphones under the above series.

In order to take a lead against the rivals like Xiaomi, Oppo and Realme, Vivo will launch the above smartphones in the mid-budget range of Rs 10,000-20,000.

As per the latest data from Counterpoint, Vivo lost its market share by 1 per cent in its last quarterly earnings. With the new price range and devices, it will eye to make a strong comeback.

Among special characteristics, Vivo sells its smartphones on online platforms and offline channels in large numbers. In such case, other companies could face a tough battle against Vivo.

The Chinese smartphone manufacturer had recently launched Z series smartphones as its exclusive product. It was priced at Rs 14,990 and customers rated it well. Among features, this smartphone was the first of its kind to include a punch-hole camera. The phone also features a triple rear camera, fingerprint sensor and 5000 mAh battery.

Vivo had recently launched its premier smartphone S1 series. The smartphone is equipped with 32 MP selfie camera and stylish design.

 

As per reports, the company is expected to launch its U series during the upcoming festive season. The company is eyeing to increase its market share by up to 40 per cent. Smartphone details are awaited, but the U series could sport waterdrop notch display. Earlier this year, the company had launched Y series smartphones like Y12, Y15 and Y17.
