New Delhi | Jagran Technology Desk: Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite has been officially launched for the Indian market by the Seoul-based smart device maker. The Galaxy Tab S6 Lite was unveiled earlier this year, but its official launch was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 24.4 centimetres-big smart device, is the toned-down version of original Tab S6. The smart device, supported by the S-Pen, comes with a price tag of Rs. 27,999 with its LTE version, to be available at Rs 31,999.

The significant alteration in Galaxy Tab S6 Lite from its superior Galaxy Tab S6 version is that it does not come with a tradition Super AMOLED panel seen on most of Samsung's smart devices including its budget smartphones. Instead the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite comes with a WUXGA TFT display supported by a little over 7 grams weighed Galaxy S-Pen with 7mm tip, for its recreational productivity purposes.

The pre-bookings for the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite have already started and will continue until June 16, followed by a sale on June 17 on Amazon and Samsung's e-store. 

The Wi-Fi-only versions can be purchased exclusively on Amazon and Samsung India e-Store. The LTE version will be available through all retail stores, online (via Amazon and Samsung e-stores) as well as via offline modes all across the country.
