New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: After the blockbuster success of Oneplus 8 and Oneplus 8 Pro earlier this year, the Shenzen-based smartphone maker has started enticing the people about ‘something new’ which is expected to be unveiled in coming July in India and elsewhere.

OnePlus co-founder Pete Lau as well as company’s top executive Carl Pei both took on Twitter on Monday to tease the upcoming launch with the hashtag #NewBeginnings. While Lau in his tweet stated, “Who's ready for something new from @OnePlus?,” Pei wrote, "It's time to rock the boat again." Also, the image attached to Lau's tweet is what stands out and has the OnePlus logo in blue instead of the company’s signatured red colour.

The reports from the tech-nerd community have suggested that the #NewBeginnings which the Oneplus enticed on Twitter, are associated wuth the launch of Oneplus Z aka Oneplus Nord. Unconfirmed reports have hinted towards the release of affordable-but-premium smartphone by the second weekend of July-2020, with its price ranging around Rs. 24,000 for its basic 6 GB + 128 GB variant, making it the cheapest Oneplus smartphone in the recent memory.

Though the smartphone-maker is yet to raise the curtain from the specs of its smart device with which it is enticing the New Beginnings, but credible leaks have suggested that the device will feature a triple rear camera setup alongside a punch-hole camera design on the front. The smartphone could feature a 4,300mAh battery, with fast charging support and could come with Android 10 with OxygenOS.

The rear of the phone will come with a quad camera setup. The OnePlus Z is also expected to feature a 6.5-inch FHD+ display, 90 Hz OLED screen with an ever glazy AMOLED panel alongside an in-screen fingerprint scanner support.
