New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Chinese smartphone brand OnePlus on Wednesday announced that it will launch a smart TV device 'OnePlus TV' in September this year. The company has also released its logo that will be associated with the smart TV.

"Yes, we are going to call our very first smart TV product "OnePlus TV" – simple yet to-the-point – as we believe there's no other name that can best represent our value, vision and pride than naming it with our own brand," the company wrote in its forums website.

The company said that smart TV is born out of the brand quote 'Never Settle' spirit. The project was announced last September, the company had started a contest to find a relevant name for its device.
"Honestly, it was harder than you could imagine during the naming process as we have seen so many creative names which made it a difficult decision," OnePlus wrote in the post.

As per reports, the smart TV screen size will be in the range of 43-inch to 75-inch. It may include OLED panels and run Google's Android service.
