New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Chinese smartphone manufacturer OnePlus has confirmed that it will launch the all-new OnePlus 8 series: OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro, said a report from Business Insider. It's Chief Executive Officer Pete Lau has said that the phone will not cost more than USD 1,000 (roughly Rs 76,419). While he did not confirm any solid price tag, his statement claimed that high-end variant of the flagship device will not cost more than Samsung Galaxy S20 5G lineup, which is priced at USD 999.99.

Even though the price of OnePlus 8 series would be below Rs 75,000. It still means they will be much costlier than their predecessors. Earlier OnePlus 7 Pro and One Plus 7T Pro were the first devices by the company to breach Rs 50,000 mark.
The OnePlus 88 series will run on Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 chipset coupled with 12GB RAM and 128 GB internal memory. The device has been rated as one of the best smartphone displays of all time by DisplayMate and accreditated A+.

The smartphones are expected to feature triple camera setup and other essential features found in a fully equipped flagship device. The devices may also support 5G, 30W fast charging support, run on Android 10 based Oxygen OS and include interstellar glow finish.

As per a report from 91Mobiles, OnePlus is expected to launch its wireless product as OnePlus warp charge 30 wireless charger and Bluetooth wireless earphones as Bluetooth Wireless Z during the event.

There will be pre-launch offers by OnePlus which will be introduced in several parts globally. A report from news18.com suggests that buyers will be handed a 'blind box' which will contain one of the two devices as well as accessories. But, with coronavirus outbreak across the world, it remains to be seen if the company manages to create any hype during this period.
