New Delhi l Jagran Tech Desk: Huawei Y9 Prime smartphone was launched in India in May this year. The device comes with a 6.59-inch screen display and a resolution of 1080*2340 pixel and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powered by octa-core with HiSilicon Kirin 710 processor chipset, the smartphone runs on Android Pie.

Realme X, on the other hand, is a 6.53-inch device launched on July 15, 2019. It also has a screen resolution of 1080*2340, powered by octa-core processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset and runs on Android Pie.


Realme X has a battery with 3765 mAh capacity and supports VOOC fast charging, Huawei Y9 Prime is equipped with a 4000 mAh battery.


Among camera features, Huawei Y9 Prime possesses a triple primary camera (16MP + 8 MP + 2 MP) camera with aided aperture depth (1.8 +2.4 +2.4), 16 MP front camera and LED flash. Realme X comes with a dual rear camera (48 MP + 5 MP) and 16 MP selfie camera and LED flash.

Other Specifications

Huawei Y9 Prime comes with a base variant of 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage and available in Sapphire Blue and Emerald Green colours. It also has in-display fingerprint.

Realme X base variant also comes with 4GB RAM + 128 GB storage and available in Polar White and Space Blue shades. It has a fingerprint sensor.

Both Huawei Y9 Prime and Realme X have connectivity features such as Wifi, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, GPS and 4G VoLTE support.


Huawei Y9 Prime is available at Rs 16,999 and will be available on the Amazon e-commerce website from August 7. Its higher variant 8GB + 128 GB storage comes at a cost of Rs 19,999.

Realme X comes in 4GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variants priced at Rs 16,999 and 19,999 respectively.
