New Delhi | Jagran Tech desk: Taiwanese smartphone manufacturer HTC has launched Wildfire X in India. The launch by the company comes after a year it launched Desire 12 and Desire 12+.

Available in two variants, the new HTC phone comes preloaded with "MyBuddy" feature which enhances the security features of the smartphone. Other key highlights of the phone include triple rear camera and waterdrop notch display. 

For enhanced customer satisfaction, the company is also offering six-month no-questions-asked accidental and liquid damage protection service.

HTC Wilfire X is set to compete with rival smartphones such as Realme 3i, Nokia 4.2 and Redmi Note 7s. Launch offers of the smartphone include coupons worth Rs 3750 for Vodafone-Idea users and an additional data of 500MB per day for 18 months. For the same, customers will need to recharge with Rs 255 pack to get Rs 75 off on 50 coupons through MyVodafone or MyIdea app.

Among specifications, The 6.22-inch device comes with a screen resolution of 720*1520 pixels with full HD support. The handset is powered by octa-core Soc chipset processor.

HTC Wildfire runs on Android Pie and sports a 3D OPVD mirror finish and displays Hyper Optical patterns at the back. Among camera features, it includes 8X Hybrid Zoom with triple primary camera (12MP + 8MP + 5MP) and 8MP selfie camera. Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wifi, Bluetooth, A-GPS, USB Type C and 3.5 mm audio jack. The battery power is 3300 mAh with 10W fast charging support.

The company on Wednesday tweeted:

The price starts at Rs 9,999 for its base variant 3GB + 32 GB storage while its higher variant 4GB + 128 Gb comes at a cost of Rs 12,999. The device will available in single, blue color shades. Sale of this device will be held at Flipkart from August 22.
