New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: Smartphone manufacturer HTC is all set to launch its latest flagship device HTC Desire 19+ on August 19, as per reports. The device is expected to sport a waterdrop notch display and rear triple camera. HTC has teased a video for the same on twitter. In the video, a prototype image can be seen at the end. The teaser was also uploaded on e-commerce website Flipkart.

In 2007, HTC became the first mobile phone brand to launch a touchscreen smartphone in India. The company launched its first Android device in 2016 and it is making a comeback with another Android device. HTC Desire 19+ was launched in Taiwan in June and is expected to launch in India at a cost of Rs 22,000.

Among specifications, the device could possess a 6.2-inch screen with a full HD display. It would include Meditek Helio P35 chipset processor. The smartphone will come in two variants, mainly 4GB + 64 GB storage and 6GB + 128 GB storage. The higher variant could be launched at Rs 24,990. It may include a triple primary camera (16 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP). HTC Desire 19+ could be supported by a Li-ion battery capacity of 3850 mAh.

With the new launch, HTC is set to compete with rivals Redmi K20, Realme X, Samsung Galaxy M40 and Vivo Z1 Pro in the mid-budget range.
