New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The coronavirus outbreak in the country has forced many public and private firms to enforce the work from home facility to majority of their employees in order to prevent the further spread of the deadly coronavirus, which has so far infected over 200 people and killed 5 in the country.

While the work from home will provide help in social distancing, many other problems are there which could hamper the productivity of the people who are working from. Internet connection is one of the those problems which a person faces most while working from home.

But now it seems that the Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has found a solution for the subscribers of BSNL who are working from nowadays. The public telecom operator has introduced a Work@Home broadband plan for its customers at free of cost.

In the Work@Home plan, the users will be given 5 GB daily data at 10 Mbps and once you exhausted the data, the operator will provide unlimited data at 1 Mbps per day, without any FUP limit levied on the plan. The BSNL’s new plan will be all networks across the circles including Andaman and Nicobar region.

However, the BSNL has put a condition for those who want to avail this plan. This plan will only be available for those BSNL users who have a landline connection at their homes.

This move by the BSNL will help the people to work from home more efficiently in an alarming situation like this. This plan will also help BSNL to convert their existing landline users into broadband users, who can avail this offer for free. Once the user becomes a broadband subscriber, he will have to pay for the landline plan he had subscribed to but the data benefits would be offered for free.
