New Delhi | Jagran Technology Desk: Premium smartphone maker Apple has effectively started to move past its high-priced premium smartphone launches to score more in the Indian market through affordably priced smartphones. The first among the latest is, iPhone SE 2020 whose 64 GB variant has been priced at Rs 42,500. Club this price with the partnership which Apple has announced with HDFC bank and the customers will be able to avail Rs 3,600 cashback – effectively making it priced at Rs 38,900 when the iPhone SE 2020 hits the Indian markets.

For the cashback, interested customers can avail it by using both their HDFC Bank Debit or Credit cards.

Though the launch date is yet to be announced by Apple but unconfirmed reports have suggested its launch date to be somewhere around the third week of May, which is not very far from today.

The processor in SE 2020, is the same as the one in iPhone 11 series. While the iPhone SE 2020 is the only device from the "SE" family right now, rumours in the tech town suggest that the company might soon launch a bigger version of the phone – the iPhone SE Plus – a sister version of the iPhone 8 Plus, later this year or early in 2021.
