New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: The fastest man on Planet, Usain Bolt, took over twitter to share a picture of him winning an athletic event connecting it with social distancing. The picture is of the 2008 Bejing Olympics, when Usain won 100 meters race. Bolt bagged the iconic win at the Bird's Nest Stadium in Bejing by completing the run in mere 9.69 seconds which was a new Olympic and a world record.

As evident in the picture, Bolt won the race with a noticeable gap, beating Richard Thompson from the US by a margin of 0.20 seconds. Bolt, who is a joyous athlete, was seen beating his chest and celebrating the victory even before reaching the finish line.

The tweet that captions as "social distancing" also is delivering the significance of social distancing in these critical times. Usain posted the picture on Instagram too wishing everyone 'Happy Easter', meanwhile, reminding fans that while celebrating in their houses they should not violate the social distancing norms, imposed as per the effect across different countries, globally.

Usain bolt has been quite active these days in coronavirus awareness, in another tweet he shared a poster, urging people to come forward and contribute for the patients and those suffering in these hard days of the pandemic. The tweet captions as," I AM HAPPY TO DONATE J$500K TO TELETHON JAMAICA- TOGETHER WE STAND," along with a link of the website where people capable of donating can donate.

Though as of now Jamaica has not reported a drastic figure in the number of coronavirus cases the message was like a global reminder. The global count of the number of active coronavirus cases has reached to 19,30,780, with 1,20,863 deaths and around 4,64,398, recoveries. The USA remains the most affected nation, while the pandemic is still spreading all over the globe.
