New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Brighton Hove Albion on Saturday stunned Tottenham Hotspur by defeating them 3-0 at Amex stadium. Debutante Aaron Conolly struck twice on his premier league debut after Neal Maupay got BHA lead in the first three minutes. He doubled the advantage in 32nd minute as the 19-year-old became the youngest goalscorer in the premier league. His second goal came with a brilliant strike into the bottom right corner during the 65th minute.

The victory moves Graham Potter's side up to 13th place with nine points. Spurs, who are yet to register away win since January are in sixth place.

In other matches, Everton beat Burnley 1-0 thanks to a lone goal from Jeff Hendricks (72') while Crystal Palace defeated West Ham United 2-1. At half time, they were 0-0. Sebastian Haller scored the opener for hammers during the 54th minute but soon Patrick van Aanholt equalised with a penalty in the 63rd minute. In dying moments of the match, Jordan Ayew scored the winner for Palace. They are now placed fourth with 14 points while West Ham slipped to seventh place.

Watford and Sheffield United kept clean sheet as the latter are placed 12th with nine points while Watford remains bottom with three points.

Aston Villa thrashed Norwich City 5-1 as Wesley (14', 30') scored twice while Jack Grealish (49'), Conor Haurihane (61') and Douglas Luiz (83') scored other goals. Josip Drmic scored a consolation goal for Norwich who dropped to the relegation zone. Villa moved to 14th place with eight points.

Meanwhile, Liverpool defeated Leicester 2-1 to continue their winning run in the tournament. Sadio Mane and James Maddison scored 40th and 80th-minute goals. The match was 1-1 till 90 minutes, but James Milner penalty in the injury time (90+5') to help his side register yet another victory and keep themselves at the top of the table with 24 points. Brendan Rodgers men are ten points behind in third place of premier league standings.
