New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: As India celebrates Holi today, members of the Indian sports fraternity poured their wishes on Twitter urging the citizens to warmly welcome the onset of the new season. The entire nation is gripped in the celebration of this vibrant and colorful festival.

Leading the greetings to wish a colourful Holi to their fans and countrymen, Indian skipper Virat Kohli took to Twitter and wished his fans a very happy, colourful and safe Holi.

"Wishing everyone a joyful and a safe Holi. May the festivities bring a lot of colors to your life. #HappyHoli," Kohli tweeted today morning.

Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar also greeted his fans and wished them a very happy, peacefull and prosperous Holi. Taking to Twitter Sachin wrote, "Happy Holi to all countrymen. I wish this Holi brings color, peace and new joys in your life," Sachin Tendulkar tweeted in Hindi.

Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya, who recently announced his engagement with Serbian actor Natasa Stankovic, posted pictures with his family and wished "Happy Holidays" to his fans on Tuesday. "Happy holidays from the Pandyas #Holi hai," Hardik Pandya captioned the images on Twitter. In the pictures posted by Hardik Pandya, the all-rounder can be seen celebrating the festival of colours with his fiance and brother Krunal Pandya.

 

"Heartiest wishes to you all on the auspicious occasion of Holi. May this festival of colours bring unending cheer and joy to you and your families," former Indian cricketer VVS Laxman tweeted.

Wrestler Geeta Phogat also greeted her fans and wished everyone a great and colourful Holi. She posted pictures with her family and her son and captioned the image, “My Baby @arjunpawansaroha First Holi #colour #festival #vibrant #happiness. Happy Holi To Everyone Have a Safe One.

People across the country are celebrating Holi, the festival of colour, with zeal and enthusiasm.
