‘Connection of a lifetime’: Virat Kohli, Anushka Sharma mourn death of their pet dog 'Bruno'
New Delhi | Jagran Sports Desk: Virat Kohli on Wednesday took to Instagram to share the news of his pet Bruno’s death, who left his gracious imprint of his life in the form of a ‘connection of lifetime’ for eleven long years. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma posted pictures to pay their tributes and wrote heartfelt message for their dog.
"Rest in peace my Bruno. Graced our lives with love for 11 years but made a connection of a lifetime. Gone to a better place today. God bless his soul with peace," Virat Kohli captioned Bruno’s image on Instagram.
“Bruno RIP (sic),” Anushka Sharma captioned the trio (Virat-Bruno-Anushka) on Instagram.

Virat and Anushka have been spending time at home amid the ongoing nationwide lockdown in place to contain the spread of Novel Coronavirus.
Minutes after Virat Kohli shared the news of Bruno’s demise, ‘RIP Bruno’ started trending on top on Twitter. Fans joined in Virat and Anushka at the time of their grief. Bruno had been a regular fixture on Kohli's social media pages for quite some time now.

Kohli’s love for Dogs isn’t new. According to a News18 report, in 2017, Kohli visited Charlie's Animal Rescue Centre (CARE) in Bengaluru and adopted rescue dogs, including those who were paraplegic and chronically ill.
Kohli and Anushka recently took part in the ‘I For India’ digital concert, aimed at raising funds to help healthcare workers fighting the novel coronavirus. Close to Rs 52 crore were raised by the concert and among the celebrities Kohli and Anushka thanked their fans for making it a success.
Apart from that, Kohli and his South African Royal Challengers Bangalore partner AB de Villiers have put up their gear from a 2016 IPL match up for auction to raise funds for the coronavirus relief.
