New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot is set to induct his new cabinet today, two days after rebel leader Sachin Pilot was removed as deputy chief minister and state Congress chief for opening revolt against the former. 

Meanwhile, Pilot continues to keep the cards closed over his next move. While he has denied the possibility of joining the BJP, reports suggest that he may be mulling floating his own party, with outside support from the saffron party. 

On the other hand, it is believed that the Congress top leadership, particularly Rahul Gandhi, is keen to keep the doors open for Pilot after he declared that he would not join the BJP and rumours were spread to "malign him with the Gandhis".

3:40 pm: Rajasthan HC grants time to Sachin Pilot camp to file fresh petition, matter to be heard now by Division Bench

3:35 pm: Time has been sought by the petitioner to amend the petition. The Court has given them time. Next hearing will be held when they will file the amended petition: Abhay Kumar Bhandari, Lawyer presenting Mahesh Joshi, Congress Chief Whip

3:25 pm: Congress Leader Mahesh Joshi had complained to the Speaker. On that complaint, the Speaker had issued a notice under Article 191 of Constitution. This writ petition is questioning the correctness of the notice. The writ also makes a direct allegation against Ashok Gehlot.

3:20 pm: Sachin Pilot & 18 other Congress MLAs who have approached Rajasthan High Court over disqualification notice from Assembly Speaker seeks quashing and setting aside of the show cause notice issued on 14th July by Speaker, Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.

12:30 pm: Rajasthan Congress has served notices to 19 rebel party leaders for not attending key party meetings amid the crisis sparked by the revolt of Sachin Pilot. Notices have been sent on mail, WhatsApp and also pasted on the walls outside their homes, asking them to reply within 2 days.

09:01 am: The Congress has sought the disqualification of Sachin Pilot and 18 other dissident MLAs from the state assembly even as it repeated that the party has not closed its doors on him.

08:50 am: Union minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat on Wednesday said that no talk has been held between Sachin Pilot and the BJP. The comments that came after rebel Congress leader noted that he would not be joining the party.
