In his tributes to the father of Indian constitution, PM Modi tweeted a video in which he can be seen paying floral tributes to BR Amdbedkar's photo, fondly known as Baba Saheb. "A humble tribute to Babasaheb Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar on his birth anniversary from all the countrymen", PM Modi captioned the post.
Yogi Adityanath paid floral tributes to Dalit icon and architect of the Indian Constitution Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar on his 129th birth anniversary. "Babasaheb raised voice for Dalits and the underprivileged. It is the result of his efforts that voices were raised against social inequality not only in India but also in other countries. I pay my tributes to him on his birth anniversary," Adityanath said.
On the occasion of Ambedkar Jayanti, BSP supremo Mayawati also paid tributes to the father of the constitution and said, "I pay respects to him on behalf on BSP&crores of his followers. He spent his life ensuring that Dalits, Adivasis&other marginalized communities live with self respect. BSP was established today in 1984 to fulfill his dreams"
Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tributes to father of the constitution Bhim Rao Ambedkar on his 129th birth anniversary, celebrated as Ambedkar Jayanti. Born into a poor Dalit family on April 14, 1891, Ambedkar became independent India's first law minister, the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and a founding father of the Republic of India.
BJP National President JP Nadda also paid floral tributes to father of the Indian Constitution, Dr Bhimrao Ambedkar, on his 129th birth anniversary. "India will always be grateful to Baba Saheb Ambedkar for his contributions in the fields of society, economy, and constitution. As BJP workers, we also get inspiration from Baba Saheb's work to bring reforms in the fields of politics, society, and economy," he said.
Keeping their political rivalries aside, BJP leader and Karnataka chief minister BS Yediyurappa, Karnataka Congress chief DK Shivakumar and Congress leader Mallikarjun Kharge paid tributes to the father of the constitution, BR Ambedkar on his 129th birth anniversary.
