New Delhi | Jagran Tech Desk: To take on OnePlus, South Korean giant Samsung is all set to launch its next flashship smartphone 'Galaxy S10' with Snapdragon 855 in India in February in the price range between Rs 40,000-45,000. As per sources, Galaxy S10 Lite will go on sale in India in the first week of February. The device will sold through online retail major Flipkart that may offer deals to bring prices closer to Rs 40,000, sources told IANS on Wednesday.

The upcoming device will give a renewed push to Samsung's startegy in the premium segment (above RS 30K), where its flagship smartphone Galaxy S and Note have been doing well traditionally. Galaxy S10 will include 48 MP primary sensor, 12 MP ultra wide lens and 5 MP macro sensors alongside the new 'Super Steady OIS (Optical Image Stabilisation). The smartphone will also include a 32 MP selfie shooter.

The device will include a 6.7-inch screen, edge-to-edge display, 4500 mAh battery with fast-charging facility and Samsung's ecosystem of apps and services, including payment app -- Samsung pay.

The Korean smartphone maker had announced Galaxy S10 Lite along with another flagship device Galaxy Note 10 Lite earlier this month.

Speaking about the device, DJ Koh-- President and CEO of IT & amp; Mob Communications Division, Samsung Electronics-- said, "The Galaxy S and Galaxy Note devices have met consumer wants and demands around the world. The Galaxy S10 Lite and Galaxy Note10 Lite will introduce distinct key premium features that make up a Galaxy S and Galaxy Note experience. "

The company is also set to launch its new next generation smartphone Galaxy S20 instead of the S11 with 120Hz refresh rate on February 11. Galaxy S20 is expected to feature a 6.2-inch screen with a quad-camera setup highlighting 108MP primary sensor. Smartphones will use an Exynos 990 processor instead of Snapdragon.
