Devotees celebrate this holy festival of Vinayaka Chaturthi to worship Lord Ganesha. The devotees celebrate the Sankashti and Vinayaka Chaturthi Vrat on the Chaturthi Tithi every Lunar fortnight (fourth day during the waning and waxing phases of the Moon, respectively).
