New Delhi | Jagran Education Desk: The government of Jammu and Kashmir has asked the state school board to get the evaluation of class 10, 12 papers from teachers in their homes amid coronavirus lockdown. The resumption of the evaluation work of JKBOSE class 10 and 12 will be done under work from home model where teachers can complete the evaluation process while staying at home. The result for Jammu and Kashmir Secondary Education and Higher Secondary is likely to release after the lockdown period on the official website of JKBOSE -- jkbose.ac.in.

Earlier the Jammu and Kashmir had postponed the class 10, 12 board examinations due to coronavirus lockdown in the country. The board had decided to promote all students of class 9 and 11 without an annual examination on the basis of academic performance in the Jammu region.

Similarly, several states have asked promotion of Class 1 to Class 8 without any annual exam and conduct classes online with the help of video conferencing platforms.

According to an order issued by the Jammu and Kashmir board, some of the sheets have been evaluated while remaining papers will be evaluated at home instead of routine evaluation in schools. The notice also stated that states, where the evaluation must be done, should ensure complete safety, security, and confidentiality of answer sheets for which required measures will be carried out.

Meanwhile, several state boards including the CBSE has postponed the Class 10 and 12 board exams amid coronavirus lockdown to prevent the spread of the virus. Though some board have managed to complete the examination, evaluation work is still pending. Only Bihar board till date has declared Class 12 results.
