New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The Centre on Monday night announed guidelines for Unlock 2.0 - the second stage of Centre's phased lockdown exit plan - which will remain in force till July 31. 

As per the new guidelines, schools, colleges and other educational instutions will remain closed across the country. Cinema halls, gyms, swimming pools will also remain shut across the country, even outside containment zones.  

International air travel and metro rail service also remains suspended across India till July 31. Domestic flights on key routes already resumed on May 25 in a calibrated manner after remaining grounded for over two months.

Domestic and international (under the Vande Bharat mission) flights and passenger trains, already operational in a limited manner, will be further expanded in a calibrated manner, it said.

Meanwhile, the government eased the night curfew timings by two hours. The night curfew will be imposed from 10 pm to 5 am which was earlier 9 pm to 6 am. 

The guidelines further said that lockdown restrictions will remain in force in containment zones, which will be "demarcated by district authorities, after taking into consideration the guidelines by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare."  

"In the containment zones, only essential services will be allowed. There will be strict perimeter control to ensure that there is no movement of people in or out of these zones, except for medical emergencies and for maintaining supply of essential goods and services," the MHA said in the guidelines. 

The Unlock 2.0 guidelines further said that there will be no restriction on inter- and intra-state movement of people and goods, adding that no separate permission or e-pass will be required.
