New Delhi | Vineet Sharan: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the dates for the remaining class 12 exams and the students have started preparing for them. To get good numbers, preparations should be done in a planned manner, however, the COVID-19 virus has disturbed the students. In such a situation, teachers have given many tips, so that children can easily prepare for the exams and score good marks.

Prepare for the exam with a simple and calm mind

Educationist Ashok Pandey said that these examinations are being held in odd circumstances. There was unrest in the minds of the children after the exam was halted. But now after the fresh dates were announced, children should start preparing for the exam with a simple and calm mind. Children repeat the course once again and do not let doubt arise in the mind. Do not be worried about the future.

Study one unit of computer science daily

Yajnesh Yadav, a teacher (PGT CS) of Unnao's Kendriya Vidyalaya, said that my advice to students who are appearing for the computer science exam is that they should study a unit of computer science every day and practice the questions related to it. CBSE is conducting python subject for the first time. So it is difficult to find old practice set papers, but potential question papers are given in many websites, which students can practice by looking at them.

Plan how many days it will take to cover different chapters

Ekta Kandhari Ratra, teacher of Delhi Alcon International School (PGT Commerce), said that for business studies, read only the books of NCERT. Students should first see the complete syllabus and plan how many days it will take to prepare a chapter. Read the chapter by dividing it into several parts. Underline important things while reading and also prepare a case study. In addition, solve sample paper and old paper as well. Try to understand the topic by watching the video on the internet. According to Ekta, since business studies questions are long, first of all understand the questions in exam, then try to answer.

Proper use of time

Students will get sufficient time for preparation, so that they can prepare more thoroughly.

You should use this time to score well.

Daily Preparations. Ensure minimum hours of study. Study time should also be fixed.

Do not create a new schedule

Students should not create a new schedule for preparation now.

They should study only according to the previously made schedule.

Creating a new schedule can cause confusions.

Do not read too many new topics or concepts.

Do not leave any big topics

Revisit the exam pattern and the entire syllabus of every subject.

Note that no topic with a higher number is left out.

Revision required

Revision is very important to score well in any exam.

You should solve previous year's question papers.

This will let you know the types of questions coming in the exam.

Important questions will also be known and your revision will also be done.

You should solve mock tests, which will help in managing time.

Do not be disturbed by virus and concentrate

Exercise, yoga, healthy eating and good sleep are necessary.

Meditate and take deep breaths, which will reduce restlessness and calm the mind.

Some Other Important Tips

Keep all social media notifications off.

Ask tough questions from the teacher and ask for their solution.

Prepare formulas. You can also make a chart of the formula.

Make a habit of discipline, it will make it easier to remember the subject.

Prepare only by writing the answers to the questions. Write the answer in your language.

When writing answers to the questions, create a box to highlight them.
