PM Modi on Independence Day: 'Our priority should be a Made in India product'
New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation on the occasion of 73rd Independence Day. This was his first Independence Day speech after the victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.
Dressed in a white kurta-pajama, PM Modi was received by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at Red Fort. He then inspected Guard of Honour and unfurled tricolour.
In his address to the nations, PM Modi spoke about the government's decision to scrap Jammu and Kashmir's special status to his vision for a "New India". He also spoke about Triple Talaq asked citizens to join the Jal Ministry in water conservation.
