New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The Parliament on the eve of Independence Day was lit in various colours to cherish the diversity of India. The country is due to celebrate its 73rd Independence Day on Thursday.

On this special occasion, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from Red Fort. This will be the first Independence Day speech for PM Modi after the victory in the 2019 Lok Sabha election.

Several preparations, dress rehearsal is going on at Red Fort to make the event joyful and extraordinary.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation from Red Fort on the occasion of India’s 73rd Independence Day. He will deliver his speech from Red Fort and it will be broadcast from 7.30 am onward on Thursday. PM Modi’s speech will be broadcast on Doordarshan and will also go live on Google and YouTube.
