'Not suffering from any disease': Amit Shah dismisses rumours around his health
New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday dismissed the rumours about his health and said that he is "not suffering from any disease."
Releasing a statement, the Home Minister said that the rumours about his ill health are wrong while adding that he is completely healthy and is not suffering from any disease.
Shah further accused that some people are trying to spread baseless rumours about his health through social media, adding that some even prayed for his demise.
"I am totally healthy and I am not suffering from any disease," Shah said in the statement in Hindi which was posted on his Twitter handle.

Shah said that the whole country is battling the dreadful coronavirus but some people are busy spreading rumours and fake news. However, he was busy performing his duties as the Home Minister of the country and therefore he did not pay attention to rumours around his health.
"I request people to stop indulging in such talks and let me do my work, they should also go about their business," the 55-year-old minister said while thanking his well-wishers.
The Home Minister further said that as per Hindu beliefs, such rumours strengthen one's health and expressed hope that people will stop spreading these rumours and will allow him to do his work as the home minister of the country.
At the end of his message, Shah said that he has no hatred towards those who spreading rumours about his ill health.
Following his clarification, BJP President JP Nadda condemned rumours about Shah's health, saying spreading such fake messages about someone's health shows the state of mind of some people.
"Making insensitive remarks about Home Minister Amit Shah Ji's health is highly condemnable. Spreading such misleading information about someone's health shows the mentality of those people. I strongly condemn this and pray to God to give wisdom to such people," he said in a tweet in Hindi.
Meanwhile, the Gujarat police also detained four people in Ahmedabad on Saturday in connection with a fake tweet being circulated in the name of Shah.
