The third phase of the nationwide lockdown following the rise in cases of coronavirus kicks in from today. It enables several states to ease from restrictions imposed in the areas that are at minimum risk or free from the disease (green and orange districts). The movement and businesses in the containment zones will continue to remain suspended.

Some states have allowed liquor sales by standalone shops saying that strict social distancing and all other safety guidelines are followed. In green zones, one can drive with a passenger or ride a two-wheeler with pillion from 7 am to 7 pm. Only emergency services would be allowed beyond these hours.
