Coronavirus News: Assam reports 81 new COVID19 cases, state tally rises to 2,324 | Highlights
New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The nationwide tally of the confirmed cases of the dreadful coronavirus has increased 2.36 lakh-mark while the death toll has crossed 6,600-mark, as per the latest information available at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Meanwhile, the recovery rate has improved 48.2 per cent as 1,14,073 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals.
As the country is preparing for the phase-wise upliftment of the coronavirus-inducted lockdown, the government has released standard operation procedures (SOPs) for malls, religious places, offices, etc. It has said that the aim of these SOPs is to instil appropriate behaviour among people to contain COVID-19 transmission chain while allowing resumption of social and economic activities.
