Coronavirus News: Lockdown extended in West Bengal till June 30, says CM Mamata Banerjee | Highlights
New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: Malls, hotels, religious places or places of worship will reopen across India today amid the surging rises in the number of coronavirus cases. As India prepares for a calibrated exit from the lockdown by easing more restrictions, ‘Unlock-1 kicks in at a time when the country recorded a daily jump of COVID-19 cases by over 9,000 for the fifth straight day on Sunday.
So far, the dreadful coronavirus has affected 2,56,611 people and claimed the lives of 7,135, according to the latest information available at the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. As per Health Ministry data, there are 1,25,381 active coronavirus cases in India while 1,24,095 people have been cured and discharged from hospitals.
