The Supreme Court today will pronounce order on the issue of rejection of death row convict Vinay Kumar Sharma's mercy petition by President Kovind in the Nirbhaya rape-murder case.

17:04 pm: A special court in Delhi sends Gopal Krishna Madhav, former OSD to Manish Sisodia, in an alleged bribery case of Rs 2 lakh, to 14 days judicial custody.
16:31 pm: BJP MP Harnath Singh Yadav had written a letter to the Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting rescue of 20 Indian citizens from Wuhan (China). PM has taken note of the letter and assured that they will arrive in India soon.
15:40 pm: Bhima Koregaon Case: Pune Sessions Court passes an order to transfer all the records and further proceedings of the case to Special NIA Court, Mumbai. All the accused in the case to be produced before the Special NIA Court in Mumbai on 28th February.
14:09 pm: Alan Shuhaib has approached High Court seeking permission to write the LLB 2nd semester exam scheduled on February 18.
13:41 pm: Supreme Court issues notice to the Jammu and Kashmir administration on the plea of Sara Abdullah Pilot, former J&K CM Omar Abdullah’s sister challenging his detention under Jammu and Kashmir Public Safety Act, 1978. The Court asks J&K administration to file a reply by March 2.
13:07 pm: Supreme Court allows Karti Chidambaram to travel abroad, including France and London, for attending a tennis tournament and asked him to deposit Rs 10 crores with the Apex Court registry.
12:15 pm: A three-judge bench of Supreme Court, headed by CJI Sharad Arvind Bobde, issues notice to Lalu Prasad Yadav, seeking a response from him on the appeal filed by the CBI which had moved the Apex Court challenging the bail granted to him by Jharkhand High Court.
12:08 pm: Supreme Court adjourns for two weeks, hearing of a plea seeking to "declare manifesto of Congress party for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections as unfair and against Model Code of Conduct, as the party had promised freebies to voters in an attempt to bribe them".
