'You took so much pain to bring them into life in bottles': Sutapa Sikdar remembers Irrfan Khan with a heartfelt post
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: It has been almost two months that Irrfan Khan passed away in Mumbai. The 53-year-old actor, who had made a name in the Bollywood and the Hollywood, was diagnosed with a neuroendocrine tumour in 2018 after which he underwent treatment in London but later succumbed to the deadly disease.
Remembering the actor who made millions his fans with his acting, Irrfan’s wife Sutapa Sikdar recently shared a lovely post for him on Facebook. She shared a picture of a small pond with blooming lotuses along with it she penned down a heartfelt note and revealed that Irrfan had put so much of effort to make the lotuses bloom in bottles.
“The lotuses remember you Irrfan. You took so much pain to bring them into life in bottles and create a place for them to bloom here. #rains#naturelove#alluniverseisone,” she wrote while sharing the pictures.
Sutapa had also shared another post a few days back while remembering Irrfan. She shared a throwback memory of Irrfan Khan swimming in a lake. “Thank you so much. I hear you. Yes, I know it's from you to me and it touched my body and soul. Between the two realms, we have the rain connecting us,” she wrote in her post.
Irrfan’s love life and marriage with Sutapa is a story for all ages. Their journey from Delhi to Mumbai made their relationship stronger. The two were fellow mates in a drama school and fell in love during their college days. They shared the common love for cinema and art.
After dating each other for some year, the two tied the knot in the year 1995. The two had made their place in the industry by working hard and have also collaborated in Hindi films, with Sutapa producing two of Irrfan's last recent films - Madaari (2015) and Qarib Qarib Single (2017).
