New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The country and the film industry was taken aback by shock of Rishi Kapoor’s sudden demise on Thursday morning at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital. Among the grievers, is the actor Sanjay Dutt who wrote down a teary-eyed note for the veteran actor wishing him to ‘always be happy in heaven’.

Sanjay Dutt and Rishi Kapoor starred together in Ramesh Talwar’s ‘Sahibaan’ in 1993 opposite Madhuri Dixit, and in 2012-remake of ‘Agneepath’.

"You have always been an inspiration to me throughout my life and career," wrote Dutt who has struggled with multiple fallacies such as drug addiction just when he started his career as an actor.

Rishi Kapoor had always been a figure of respect for Sanjay, especially since latter’s father Sunil Dutt passed away. "I will miss you Chintu sir," wrote Dutt on Instagram. Sanjay acknowledged Rishi Kapoor’s terrific fight back against the cancer that had grabbed his body quite exasperatingly in past few years.

“Your fight against Cancer has been long. But you never made me feel once that you were suffering even when I spoke to you in New York…even then you were full of life,” acknowledged Dutt.

On Thursday morning, the nation and world woke up to the news of the irretrievable loss of its glowing creative face of Hindi Film Industry who entertained multiple generations of film lovers altogether – Rishi Kapoor’s death at 67 has shaken the country’s creative conscience all at once.

A statement released on behalf of his family after Rsihi Kapoor's death read, "He remained jovial and determined to live to the fullest right through two years of treatment across two continents."

In 2009, Rishi Kapoor was honored by the Russian Government for his outstanding contribution to Cinema. Rishi Kapoor had debuted as a child actor in ‘Mera Naam Joker’ and was honored with a National Award for that. In a career spanning close to five decades, the roles which he portrayed on the silver screen are etched in the minds of his fans and critics, alike. In 2009, Rishi Kapoor was honored by the Russian Government for his outstanding contribution to Cinema.
