New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's 'War' is doing wonders at the box office since its release on Gandhi Jayanti (Oct 2). It reportedly collected Rs 238.35 crore at the domestic box office till day 9 and added around Rs 6.54 crore on Friday to reach Rs 244.85 crore. The film also performed well in the overseas market collecting USD 2.7 million in the US, USD 2.29 million in Canada, USD 3.3 million in UAE and USD 600 thousand in UK and US 2.29 million in other markets. The overall overseas collection stands at Rs 64.47 crore. 

War has already overtaken the box office collection of 2019 superhit films such as Chhichhore, Mission Mangal (Rs 192.5 crore), Bharat (198 crore), Kesari (Rs 152 crore), Total Dhamaal (Rs 150 crore), Saaho (Rs 149 crore), Super 30 (Rs 147 crore) and Gully Boy (Rs 135 crore).
 
Earlier, the film had entered Rs 200 crore club on Wednesday to become the highest engrosser of both Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff's career reaching past Krrish 3 and Baaghi 2 collections. War is likley to become the highest engrossing film of the year is likely to overtake the collections of Vicky Kaushal's 'Uri: The Surgical strike' (Rs 244 crore) and 'Kabir Singh' featuring Shahid Kapoor and Kiara Advani in lead roles that had collected Rs 277 crore at the domestic box office.
 
 
It could face challenges from Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Housefull 4' and Salman Khan's Dabangg 3 that is slated to release on October 26 and December 20 respectively. 
 
Helmed by Siddharth Anand, War also features Vaani Kapoor and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles. The story revolves around Kabir (played by Hrithik Roshan), a RAW agent who is on a mission to kill criminal turned businessman Rizwan Illyasi and his aides as part of a mission. Tiger Shroff plays the role of Khalid, another raw agent who gets killed by Saurabh. The latter disguises himself as Tiger and teams up with him. In a dramatic turn of events, fake Khalid real identity gets revealed. He tries to kill Kabir, but the latter survives and continues his mission. 
 
Meanwhile, Farhan Akhtar and Priyanka Chopra's 'The Sky is Pink' collected Rs 2.5 crore on its opening day. Directed by Shonali Bose, the film also features Zaira Wasim and Rohit Saraf in lead roles. The story revolves around Zaira, who suffers from a terminal disease and becomes a cause of brawl among parents.
