Two more house help staff at Boney Kapoor's residence test positive for COVID-19: Report
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Less than 48-hours after film-producer Boney Kapoor released a statement that his family is taking necessary precautions after their 23-years old House help tested positive for COVID-19, two more members of famous film producer's house help staff have tested positive for coronavirus.
Oshiwara Police station official Dayanand Bangar confirmed the piece of information to SpotboyE. Earlier, the 'Mr India' producer had stated on Tuesday that the he himself and his daughters Jahnvi and Khushi were asymptomatic, and he is sure that Charan (first COVID infected house help staff) will recover and be back home soon.

‚ÄúMy children, our other staff at home and I, are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. In fact we haven‚Äôt left our home since the lockdown started,‚ÄĚ he added further.
Boney Kapoor, while thanking (BMC) Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation for its swift response, said that his family is under self-quarantine for the next two weeks and they will continue to sincerely follow all the government guidelines for the matter concerned.
According to a Hindustan Times report, Kapoor's domestic help Charan Sahu, aged 23, was living with Boney and his family at their residence in Green Acres, Lokhandwala Complex. He had been unwell since Saturday evening, which in turn left Boney to send him down to a hospital for COVID test.
Charan tested Covid-19 positive, after which he was kept in isolation. Subsequently, (BMC) Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation and government officials arrived at the Kapoor residence in Lokhandwala and took Charan away for quarantine.
With the state of Maharashtra having recorded over 41,000 COVID cases already, Mumbai remains the hardest-hit COVID transmission zone in the country, with its 25,317 patient count accounting for over one-fifth of country's total COVID patients at present.
Mumbai's Dharavi, which has came up as one of country's most crowded COVID hotspots, alone has reported 1,425 confirmed cases -- making the official anticipation of the sheer importance coming days of containment measures even more crucial.
