'Stop spreading rumours': Riddhima Kapoor rubbishes report claiming his brother Ranbir, mother Neetu and Karan Johar tested COVID-19 positive
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Riddhima Kapoor Sahani, the sister of actor Ranbir Kapoor, today took to Instagram to rubbish media reports claiming that his brother and mother Neetu Kapoor along with director Karan Johar had tested positive for coronavirus.
"Attention seeking ??? Least verify/ clarify ! We are fit We are good ! Stop spreading rumours," she wrote in an Instagram post which had a screenshot of a tweet claiming the news of her brother, mother and Karan testing positive for the disease.

Soon after the news of Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek Bachchan testing posotive for coronavirus, a tweet went viral claiming that that actor Ranbir Kapoor, his mother Neetu Kapoor and director Karan Johar tested positive for COVID-19.
A Twitter user, who goes by the name Amit Vashisth, wrote that Ranbir, his mother Neetu and Karan had tested positive for coronavirus.
He added that Agastya Nanda - the son of Amitabh and Jaya Bachchan's daughter Shweta Bachchan Nanda - attended a birthday party hosted by Riddhima Kapoor, sister of Ranbir.
Earlier, Amitabh and his son Abhishek took to Twitter to inform fams that they had been hospitalised to Mumbai's Nanavati Hospital after being tested positive for coronavirus.
“I have tested COVID positive. Shifted to Hospital. Hospital informing authorities, family and staff undergone tests, results awaited,” Amitabh tweeted.
"All that have been in close proximity to me in the last 10 days are requested to please get themselves tested,” he added.
Soon after his father posted his tweet, quelling speculation about his health, Abhishek also tweeted.
"Earlier today both my father and I tested positive for COVID 19. Both of us having mild symptoms have been admitted to hospital. We have informed all the required authorities and our family and staff are all being tested. I request all to stay calm and not panic. Thank you," Abhishek tweeted.
