‘Staying home is the best solution’: Janhvi Kapoor shares important message after house help tests COVID-19 positive
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor recently took to Instagram to share an important note written by her father, Boney Kapoor, notifying everyone about their house help, who had tested positive for coronavirus, on Sunday.
Sharing the note, Janhvi Kapoor wrote on Instagram," Staying at home is still the best solution we have. Stay safe everyone.” Soon many Bollywood celebs appreciated Janhvi and Boney's stand to inform about the incident. Actor Kartik Aaryan wrote in the comment section, "Kudos for Acting Promptly !! Spreading Awareness is the New Normal." While their family friend, designer Manish Malhotra wrote: "Stay Safe."
Janhvi Kapoor is quarantining with father Boney Kapoor and sister Khushi at their residence in Andheri. The 23-year-old actress had also shared a message by her father that said, "I would like to inform you that our house staff, Charan Sahu, aged 23 years, has tested positive for Covid-19. He was unwell on Saturday evening, was sent for tests, and kept in isolation. After receiving the test report, our Housing Society authorities were informed and then accordingly the BMC, who immediately started the process of getting him into a quarantine center.”
Adding to it, Boney Kapoor further said, "My children, our other staff at home and I, are all fine and none of us are showing any symptoms. We haven’t left our home since the lockdown started. All of us will be in self-quarantine for the next 14 days. We shall be diligently following the instructions and advice given to us by the BMC as well as their medical team. We are thankful to the Government of Maharashtra and the BMC for their swift response.
“I am sharing this information because it is important not to feed rumors and panic. We will take all precautions as required. We are sure that Charan will recover and be back at home with us soon.”
The Dhadak actress has been sharing a lot of fun videos during the lockdown on social media. On the work front, Janhvi was last seen in Karan Johar's short film Ghost stories.
