'Sometimes I wish for you to come back but….': Riddhima Kapoor wishes Rishi Kapoor Happy Father's Day with a heartfelt post
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: People across the world are celebrating Father’s Day today. Several celebrities and Bollywood stars have also shared a picture of themselves with their father, thanking them for their unconditional love and support.
As the world celebrates Father’s Day, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also remembered her father Rishi Kapoor who passed away two months. Riddhima took to Instagram to share Rishi Kapoor’s picture on the occasion of Father’s Day and wrote a beautiful message for the veteran Bollywood actor while remembering him. She captioned it as “Happy Father’s Day papa! I miss you love you always!”

Riddhima also shared several pictures of her family members on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “We celebrate you everyday. Dad, sometimes I wish for you to come back but I don’t want you to suffer again. I know you are with me and always and I will always love and miss you with all my heart.”
Riddhima is a yoga enthusiast and also posted several stories of practising yoga while encouraging people to start yoga and meditation on the occasion of International Yoga Day on her official Instagram.
Riddhima has also shared a series of pictures of her family that includes her husband, daughter, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, and late Rishi Kapoor. She added a heartfelt note remembering her late father. She wrote, “Dad sometimes I wish for you to come back but I don’t want you to suffer again. I know you are with me and I will always love and miss you with all my heart. Until we meet again.”
Rishi Kapoor died on April 30. He was admitted to H N Reliance hospital in south Mumbai on April 29 with a colon infection. He died the next morning. The late actor battled cancer for two years and spent most of last year undergoing treatment in New York.
Rishi Kapoor was working on his new film Sharmaji Namkeen, the shoot of which was postponed due to the coronavirus-induced lockdown. Honey Trehan, the producer of the film assured the fans that late Rishi’s last film will be completed and released this year. “Sadly this is his last project and we are sure we will finish it somehow soon. We will bring it out to his fans. Once things settle down, we will sit with our team and decide what to do,” he told news agency PTI.
