‘Simply Unbeatable’: Amitabh Bachchan remembers late Rishi Kapoor with Insta post praising his lip-sync skills

The industry has lost many of its gems. However, the most recent heart-breaking loss was of veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. His demise left the industry broken. Rishi Kapoor died battling Leukemia on 30th April 2020.
Recently, Amitabh Bachchan, in the memory of the late beloved actor and friend Rishi Kapoor, took to Instagram to share a candid throwback picture from an award event where Rishi Kapoor sat on the floor to perform a dance step and lip-sync to a song from one of his films.
Big B shared the picture, in which Abhishek Bachchan can also be seen singing behind Rishi Kapoor. "No one but no one could lip-sync a song as perfectly as Rishi Kapoor .. just look at the passion in his expression .. !! Even at this age and at an event the genuineness .. simply unbeatable"

Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor appeared together for the first time in 1976 release Kabhi Kabhie. It also starred Raakhee, Shashi Kapoor, Waheeda Rehman, Neetu Kapoor, and Simi Garewal. Directed by Yash Chopra it was a romantic drama film that was well received by the audiences.
After the hit from their first film which brought chemistry on screen, the audience praised the duo's unmatched energy, they started ruling the era of the 80s. Both the phenomenal actors came together in many films due to their chemistry. Bachchan was named as the 'Angry Young Man', whereas, late actor Rishi Kapoor was the romantic hero.
The duo was last seen together in the 2018 film 102 Not Out. The two friends collaborated on a project after decades. It was Amitabh Bachchan who confirmed the news on Twitter about the demise of Rishi Kapoor. He wrote, “He's Gone.. ! Rishi Kapoor .. gone ... just passed away .. I am destroyed.”
