New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh took to Instagram to post a portrait of himself styled in the attire of the portrait of the famous 19th-century painter, Vincent Van Gogh.

Ranveer captioned the painting along with a beautiful quote by the dutch painter, he captioned it as," As we advance in life it becomes more and more difficult, but in fighting the difficulties the inmost strength of the heart is developed." The quote explains how the journey of life becomes difficult with every dawn, but it is just to fight as this trains our heart to rebel back with the eternal strength it entitles.

The post signifies the position of most of the people who are fighting with stress and depression amid the lockdown. The painter, Vincent Van Gogh has died due to suicide, and hence his paintings are often used to symbolize the mental pressure we all face in our lives, especially in times like these, when unemployment rates and pay cuts are escalating like never before.

Though who created the portrait with the same strokes of the brush is still not known, fans and fellow celebs of Ranveer are appreciating this piece of art.

Actress Huma Khureshi wrote in the comment section of the post,"Edge of insanity," while actress Nimrat Kaur wrote, "so special."

Both the husband-wife duo have been emphasising on mental health awareness amid the pandemic. Earlier, Deepika Padukone had scheduled for an online conversation with the director-general of the World Health Organisation, last month. In order to discuss the mental health issues amid the pandemic, though the virtual meeting got canceled, as Deepika wrote on Instagram that she had to cancel the live session due to 'unavoidable circumstances.'

The couple is quarantining in Mumbai and had been sharing sneak peep moments from their life on social media. On the work front, both of them will together be seen in Kabir Khan's 83. The movie is a biopic on the life of Indian cricketer Kapil Dev, while Ranveer is playing the role of the cricketer, Deepika will be seen in a short role, as the better half of the cricketer.
