On hubby Ranveer Singh's birthday, Deepika Padukone reveals his 'best performance' on screen
New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Bollywood star Ranveer Singh, known for his versatile acting and humorous nature, turned a year older on Monday. As the actor turned 35, his fans and family members poured wishes on him, wishing for his success and long life. However, the actor received a special gift from his lovely wife Deepika Padukone.
Ranveer on Monday also celebrated seven years of his film Lootera. The film, which also featured Sonakshi Sinha, was directed by Vikramaditya Motwane and was an adaptation of O Henry’s The Last Leaf. To celebrate the success of Lootera, Ranveer, who is also known as “Rambo”, shared a post on his Instagram account.
As Ranveer shared a post on Instagram, sharing the success of Lootera, it was his wife Deepika who stole the show with her special birthday gift for the actor. Deepika revealed about Ranveer’s best performance and said that his performance in the film Lootera was “one of his best performances”. The 34-year-old actress also dropped a heart emoji in the comment section that left the fans in “awe”.

Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh are one of the loveliest couples in the Bollywood. The two actors are commonly known as “DeepVeer” and had tied knots on November 14, 2018. The couple have worked together in films like Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela (2013), Bajirao Mastani (2015) and Padmaavat (2018).
Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh on Monday turned 35. Apart from Deepika, Ranveer’s sister-in-law Anisha Padukone also wished him on his 35th birthday. “Janamdin ki hardik shubhkamnaye, jijaji (Wish you a happiest birthday, brother-in-law),” she said in her Instagram story.
On the work front, Ranveer will be next seen in Kabir Khan’s 83 where he will play the role of former Indian cricket captain Kapil Dev. The film is based on the 1983 World Cup-winning team and will feature Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, and Ammy Virk.
