New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: The untimely demise of renowned actor Sushant Singh Rajput has left everyone shocked to the core, especially people who have had worked with him in the past. The whole Bollywood industry is mourning his death. The actor allegedly committed suicide at his Bandra residence and his body found hanging on Sunday.

Many celebrities are deeply devastated by the news. They took to social media platforms to show their condolences. Out of them,Ekta Kapoor, who launched Sushant Singh Rajput in the television industry in the year 2008, also took to Instagram to share a heartbreaking post. 

She wrote, “Not fair sushi ! One week everything changed! Not fair my baby!” The post is a screenshot of the comment section of a previous post.

Earlier this week, Ekta Kapoor posted a short clip of the renowned daily soap Pavitra Rishta from where Sushant rose to fame, opposite Ankita Lokhande. Along with the short video clip of the drama and OST in the background, she wrote, “After being 35 of 50 slots we were out of top 50! This show was a chance @zeetv gave us based on a show #tirumatiselvum ! Wanted to cast a boy as lead who was doing second lead on our other show ! D creative in zee was adamant he dint look d part ! We@convinced them his smile wud win a million hearts.....and it did @sushantsinghrajput “.

The actor also replied to the post and said, “And I’m forever grateful to you ma’am” with heart emojis. She further replied, “Sushiiiii, love you” with heart emojis.

Ekta Kapoor was the mentor of MS Dhoni actor Sushant Singh Rajput. She launched Sushant as Preet, in his first role in the TV show, Kis Desh Mein Hai Meraa Dil in 2008. He played the second lead role, which also starred Harshad Chopda and Additi Gupta.

Before coming to Mumbai, he used to live in Delhi, and was studying in Delhi Technological University. Rajput enrolled in Shiamak Davar's dance classes. It was only later that the idea of making a career in acting came to him, as some of his fellow students in the dance classes happened to be interested in acting.

Later on, he became more focused on building a career in acting. He dropped out of engineering and devoted himself full-time to dancing and acting.
