'Mumma, I love you': Janhvi Kapoor shares heartfelt post on Sridevi's birth anniversary

New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Sri Devi's daughter and film actress Janhvi Kapoor on Tuesday shared a heart-wrenching post in remembrance of her mother's 56th birth anniversary. The 22-year-old took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of her mother with the caption, "Happy birthday, Mumma, I love you".

Sridevi died in February 2018 after accidentally drowning in a bathtub in a Dubai hotel, just months before Jahnvi Kapoor's debut in Bollywood. Ahead of her 'Dhadak' release in July last year, the actress was heard saying 'I miss her' at events.
Actress Priyanka Chopra and her friend Manish Malhotra commented on her post to remind her that Sridevi lives in their hearts.
Among others in the B-Town, Anil Kapoor's wife Sunita shared a post on Instagram sharing her bond with the late actress. She wrote, "Memories are always special. Sometimes we laugh by remembering the times we cried, and we cry by remembering the days we laughed! That's life. Happy birthday Sri, Miss you so much."
Filmfare Awards paid a special heartfelt tribute to Sridevi, who appeared in over 300 films across several decades. Her last appearance was in Shah Rukh Khan's- Zero which was shot before her death.
In 2013, the actress had received Padma Shri- the fourth highest civilian award. She was also posthumously honoured with her first national award last year.
