New Delhi | Jagran Entertainment Desk: Popular wax statue museum 'Madame Tussauds' on Tuesday, the birth anniversary of Sridevi, shared top news for her fans. It revealed that the museum is building a statue to honour the popular actress 'Sridevi' which will be unveiled in September this year.
The museum's Singapore branch on Tuesday tweeted, "Happy birthday @SrideviBKapoor As a tribute to Bollywood icon, we are pleased to announce that we will be launching her wax figure in early September this year! Her figure is one of its kind in the world, and it’s an exclusive addition to Madame Tussauds Singapore!
Meanwhile, Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor, who is a filmmaker, replied by tweeting that he is touched by Madame Tussauds for honouring her work.

"I am touched that Madame Tussauds is honouring my wife, Sridevi Kapoor, and her work by having her figure immortalised. I, along with my family will be a part of the occasion when the figure is unveiled in Madame Tussauds Singapore at the Ultimate Film Star Experience. We hope this exhibit can be a place for everybody to continue paying their tributes to her," he wrote on Twitter.

Madame Tussauds Singapore has wax statues of other popular Indian celebrities such as Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli, Sachin Tendulkar, etc. The museum has its headquarter in London, it has small branches worldwide including Delhi.
